paypoint will have a motorised card reader and electronic coin
validator for the insertion of correct change only. When the card is
inserted the amount due will be displayed and upon insertion of the

The
exit unit will be similar to the entry system with the exception that
having read the card, it will swallow it and deposit into a collecting
bin.

entry system will incorporate a Smart token encoding reader which when
operated will dispense a token encoded with time and date of issue.
Whilst not a standard feature, a further Smart token reader could be
incorporated to allow for the insertion of a pre encoded token for
either membership or regular users.

Paypoint

The
paypoint will incorporate a Smart token reader and an electronic coin
validator for the insertion of correct change only. When the token is
inserted the amount due will displayed and upon insertion of the
correct tariff the token will be time encoded to allow exit within a
predetermined time.
It can be arranged that a number of tariff
bands can be incorporated to allow for sliding scale charging.

Exit
|

|
The
exit system will incorporate a Smart token reader, which upon insertion
of the token, provided that it is within the allowed time elapsed, will
allow the barrier to open.
The token will then have the memory deleted and will then be deposited
in a collection box ready for recycling.
Should a change giving facility be required at the paypoint, a
different type of coin mechanism will be used incorporating
self-loading change tubes. An additional amount of £450.00 should
allowed for this type of mechanism.
